Received a letter of appreciation from Sibuya Fire Department for emergency rescue efforts
Our university's efforts in emergency medical care through its "Advanced Life Support Training Course" were recognized, and Sibuya Fire Department presented our university with a letter of appreciation.
At our university, we have been conducting advanced life support training courses for many years as part of our extracurricular education programs. We recruit a wide range of participants from among our students, and through a one-day program, participants learn emergency life support knowledge and skills for disasters such as earthquakes and unforeseen accidents, through a combination of lectures and practical exercises, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), life-saving procedures using AEDs, and bleeding control methods using triangular bandages. Participants who reach a certain level are issued an advanced life support skills certificate valid for three years.
Currently, we hold advanced life support training courses several times a year at each campus, and these programs consistently attract many applicants. Our university plans to continue organizing these advanced life support training courses in the future to ensure that students acquire life-saving knowledge and skills.

Comment from Student Affairs and Welfare Department
Takashi Fujii
Our university's extracurricular education programs have been implemented since 1997 as a place for holistic education, enabling students to acquire the qualities necessary to become responsible members of society. The advanced life support training course has been a popular program that has continued uninterrupted from its inception to the present day. With the cooperation of the Sibuya Fire Department, we hope to continue it for many years to come.
Comment from the person in charge of extracurricular education programs
While disasters and unforeseen accidents are unpredictable, having even a little knowledge and practical experience in first aid can help protect those around you. We will continue to hold advanced life support training courses and contribute to emergency medical services.
