In addition to academic lectures, students in Department of Cultural and Creative Management participate in field-based project-based research education at the Aoyama Community Lab (ACL), which is attached to the Faculty of Cultural Policy Studies. It is expected that the crossover of "academic knowledge" and "field knowledge" will produce new "creative knowledge."
Furthermore, in order to acquire practical knowledge in fieldwork, it is possible to obtain qualifications as a "social researcher" or a "specialized social researcher." In addition to the standard two-year course, students can also choose a three-year course.
