Teacher's certificate

This is a course to acquire the teaching qualification required to become a teacher at Kindergarten Building, elementary school, junior high school, or high school.
Our university's teacher training began in the 1880s with the training of English teachers, and has since produced a large number of teachers every year, earning it high praise from society.
Teaching licenses can be obtained for each type of school (Kindergarten Building, elementary school, junior high school, high school, etc.) and for each subject (English, Japanese, science, etc.) for junior high school and high school students by acquiring the credits specified in the Teaching License Act and the Enforcement Regulations of the Teaching License Act at a university or other institution.
*The types of teaching licenses available at our university vary depending on the faculty, department, and year of enrollment.
*In accordance with the Child Sexual Violence Prevention Act (effective December 25, 2026), if a conviction for a specific sexual crime is confirmed, you will not be able to carry out teaching practice or obtain a teaching license.
