Student discount
We would like to provide you with information about student discount certificates issued by Aoyama Gakuin University.
Student discount certificate (School student passenger fare discount certificate)
A 20% discount is applied to the fare for JR line tickets for one-way trips of 101km or more. Valid for 3 months from the date of issue. As usual, it is expected to be crowded before long holidays, so please get your ticket early.
If a student discount certificate is used by anyone other than the person named on the certificate, it will be considered unauthorized use and will not only be subject to a fine, but will also be subject to disciplinary action as a violation of university regulations. Therefore, please do not unauthorizedly use the certificate by borrowing or lending it.
Acquisition method
◆Certificate issuing machine on campus (free)
Log in to the student portal and apply by going to "Top left menu > Certificates > Certificate Application (Online Application Screen)" and following the steps below.
*You will need to register an email address when logging in for the first time.
① Log in to the dedicated page, select "On-campus printing" on the issuing location selection screen, and submit your application.
*Student discount certificates are not available through convenience store issuance services.
② After completing the application, you will receive a confirmation email with the "campus printing number" which you will enter into the on-campus certificate issuing machine installed on campus to issue the certificate.
*You can also get your certificate issued from machines on campuses other than yours.
◆Receive by mail (Postage fee required)
Log in to the student portal, refer to "Top left menu > Student Life > Student Discount Cards" and submit the required documents to the office on your campus.
*Please note that it may take some time for the certificate to be issued depending on postal conditions, etc., so please apply with plenty of time to spare.
Group travel discounts
If you travel on JR lines in a group of 8 or more people, you will receive a 50% discount on your ticket fare (provided that you are accompanied by a teacher or staff member).
To purchase a group discount ticket, approval from President is required, so please bring the necessary documents and complete the procedure.

Please prepare the necessary documents and submit them to the Student Affairs Division.
The application period is from 9 months to 14 days before the departure date, so please apply well in advance.
(Applications for group-only trains such as the Tatami Room Train can be made between 9 months and 2 months before the departure date.)

?A copy of the off-campus class implementation notification (seminars only. Please contact the Academic Affairs Division of your faculty)
