Three Policies

We would like to introduce three policies of Aoyama Gakuin University University's Graduate School of Business Department of Business Administration.

Three Policies for the Master's Program

  • Diploma Policy (Policy for Completion Certification and Awarding of Degrees)

    ■ Knowledge and skills
    - Have specialized knowledge in the fields of business administration, accounting, marketing, strategic management, or intellectual property rights.
    ?You will be able to discover meaningful research topics from an academic perspective.
    ?Learn research methods and be able to write academic papers.

    ■Thinking ability, judgment ability, expressive ability
    Be able to apply theoretical frameworks to management phenomena and present the results of your analysis in the form of an academic paper.

    ■ Motivation, interest, and attitude
    I am eager to use what I have learned in Graduate School of Business to benefit all people and society.

  • Curriculum Policy (Policy for creating and implementing educational curriculum)

    The basic structure of the curriculum is divided into four specialized fields: School of Business, Accounting, IMC Integrated Marketing, and Strategic Management and Intellectual Property Rights Program. This allows students to acquire knowledge without being biased toward one specialized field.
    In addition to acquiring knowledge through a combination of lectures and exercises, students will also acquire the ability to discover research topics and research methods by receiving research advice and training in writing papers during the thesis process.
    In addition, we will establish a Strategic Management and Intellectual Property Rights Program, an educational program that allows students to earn a master's degree through English alone.

  • Admission Policy

    ■ Knowledge and skills
    They are familiar with the basic knowledge of business administration and, as working adults, have the basic ability to play an active role in the workplace based on their advanced research ability in business administration.

    ■Thinking ability, judgment ability, expressive ability
    Able to think logically about issues and express one's thoughts clearly both verbally and in writing.

    ■ Motivation, interest, and attitude
    I am eager to use what I have learned in Graduate School of Business to benefit all people and society.

Three Policies for the Doctoral Program

  • Diploma Policy (Policy for Completion Certification and Awarding of Degrees)

    ■ Knowledge and skills
    - Have a systematic understanding of specialized knowledge in the fields of business administration, accounting, marketing, strategic management, or intellectual property rights to the extent that they are able to teach it to others.
    - Have acquired the ability to conduct original research that can contribute to existing theoretical frameworks.

    ■Thinking ability, judgment ability, expressive ability
    Be able to apply theoretical frameworks to management phenomena and publish analytical results that will contribute to the relevant research field.

    ■ Motivation, interest, and attitude
    In the field of business administration, they are aware of their responsibilities as researchers and educators and have social ethics.

  • Curriculum Policy (Policy for creating and implementing educational curriculum)

    The basic structure of the curriculum is divided into four specializations: School of Business, Accounting, IMC Integrated Marketing, and Strategic Management and Intellectual Property Rights Program.
    By providing research advice during the doctoral dissertation writing process, students will become familiar with deep specialized knowledge and improve their ability to conduct original research.
