"The Light of the World" Light is like a guide light or a lighthouse lamp, guiding people and providing brightness and warmth. Light also sterilizes and provides nourishment. In the same way, our school aims to radiate encouragement, strength, and energy to those around us as a light of hope through conspicuous actions.
Rather than meaning the earth or the world, the words "earth" and "world" are synonyms for a "Godless reality" and a "situation that causes the loss of human dignity." In this environment, we are "salt" and "light" through God's grace, and so those who gather at Aoyama Gakuin demonstrate a unique presence.
