Graduate School of Law
Graduate School of Law
Graduate School of Law consists of three majors: Department of Private Law, Department of Public Law, and Department of Business Law. Of these, the Department of Private Law and Department of Public Law majors were established at the same time as Graduate School of Law was opened in 1961, and have a tradition of over 60 years. On the other hand, Department of Business Law was established in 2005.
Of these majors, Department of Private Law and Department of Public Law are primarily focused on training researchers, while Department of Business Law is different in that it was designed from the outset as a night graduate school aimed primarily at working adults, to train individuals capable of carrying out highly specialized legal work.
