Basic Science Course
Basic Science Course
The program focuses on the fields of mathematical sciences, astrophysics, theoretical physics, and atomic and molecular physics, and also aims to broaden students' horizons to include new fields such as economics, information science, and complex systems.
Current areas of research include theoretical studies of the properties of magnetic materials, theoretical and numerical studies of the physics of friction, cosmic ray physics, high energy physics, transient objects, particle cosmology, atomic physics, nonlinear waves, nonlinear discrete systems, topology, dynamical systems, combinatorics, algebraic systems, representation theory, spherical functions, and special functions.
