What is a chat room?

The Aoyama Gakuin Chat Room is a place for international exchange through communication in foreign languages (English, Chinese, Korean, etc.) with "chat leaders" who are international students enrolled at Aoyama Gakuin University.
We also hold chat sessions in Japanese for international students.

The Aoyama Gakuin Chat Room is a place for international exchange through communication in foreign languages (English, Chinese, Korean, etc.) with "chat leaders" who are international students enrolled at Aoyama Gakuin University.

Eligibility The following students, pupils and children enrolled at Aoyama Gakuin are eligible to use this facility.
1. University undergraduate or graduate school students
2. High school students
3. Middle school students
4. Elementary school students
usage fee free
Opening period April to July, October to January

What you can do in a chat room

In the chat room, you can have fun conversations with the "chat leader" in various languages. In group sessions, up to six students and one chat leader will talk in groups, and in One on One sessions, you can enjoy one-on-one conversations with the chat leader. Through the sessions, you can learn about the culture and life of the chat leader's home country, share Japanese culture, and make various discoveries and learn things through conversation.
