2023年9月19日（火）～25日（月）、国際政治経済学部学生団体SANDS（Sipec and SDGs、以下SANDS）が、国連総会の会期に合わせたSDGs推進イベント「HAPPY EARTH FESTA 2023」に参加しました。本学青山キャンパスの向かい側にある国連大学で開催されたオープニングセレモニーでは、学生代表として、本学SANDS代表の滝本智丹さん（国際政治経済学部 国际政治学科2年）が挨拶を行いました。

SANDSは、学生団体ブースの展示にも携わり、伊藤忠SDGs STUDIOに設置されたブースでは、古着プロジェクトの展示と「古着からエコバックを作る」ワークショップを開催し、SANDSの活動を発信しました。

I am delighted to have had the opportunity to speak as a student representative on such a grand stage as the United Nations University. In addition to introducing the student organization I lead, I called for partnerships on global issues. I believe that in order to create a sustainable future, it is essential that everyone, regardless of age, gender, or nationality, comes together and co-creates. When I conveyed this message, I saw many people nodding in agreement, and I truly felt the importance of engaging with these issues. I will continue to take responsibility for my words and, through SANDS' diverse projects, strive to create a society where no one is left behind and an exciting future.
