Aoyama Gakuin University University has entered into a joint research agreement with The Bank of Yokohama, Ltd. regarding data analysis of local companies.

In July 2022, our university and Yokohama Bank signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement aimed at promoting regional economic growth and revitalization, and have been providing solutions to address challenges related to product and technology development for Yokohama Bank's corporate clients. Now, our university and Yokohama Bank have signed a joint research agreement, leveraging our university's data analysis capabilities to analyze data information held by Yokohama Bank and identify influencing factors (how items such as sales, number of employees, and location have a positive or negative impact) and similar companies in the region.

Furthermore, as a future development, based on the data analysis conducted by our university, Yokohama Bank will visit companies that are expected to grow and provide support for their growth. We are also considering undertaking similar data analysis and growth support in other areas of Kanagawa Prefecture.

Moving forward, our university and Yokohama Bank will continue to work together to address the challenges facing the local community by strengthening collaboration among industry, academia, government, and finance, utilizing our diverse networks.
